Position Title: Assistant Shift Supervisor

Role Summary:

The Assistant Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Shift Supervisor by overseeing production lines, managing personnel, and ensuring adherence to high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mold setups and manage insert changeovers efficiently.
  • Prepare and configure auxiliary equipment as required.
  • Oversee the computer system during changeovers and provide direction as necessary.
  • Record scrap and downtime accurately in the computer system.
  • Collaborate with Quality Inspectors to maintain production quality.
  • Train new operators on established procedures and best practices.
  • Adhere to all processing protocols as defined by the Production Manager.
  • Utilize computer systems for inventory management, scheduling, process documentation, and internal communications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Production Supervisor role within a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Molding Processing.
