JIRA Application Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled JIRA Application Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a JIRA Application Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our JIRA applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain JIRA workflows, configurations, and integrations to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement JIRA workflows, configurations, and integrations to meet client needs
- Develop and maintain JIRA applications to ensure seamless functionality and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience developing with Python, Groovy, HTML, Java, .NET, or shell scripting
- 2+ years of experience with Jira product Administration and Jira Service Desk configuration, maintaining, and supporting workflow schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes, or screen schemes
- 2+ years of experience with JIRA Development and testing integrations between JIRA and other 3rd-party using JIRA REST API
- Experience with managing JIRA and related product updates and patching
- Ability to monitor JIRA system operations, including security procedures and liaison with infrastructure, security, DevOps, data, and application teams
- Ability to adhere to stringent security, change, and configuration management procedures and policies
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Atlassian support and support organizations of the product plug-ins
- Experience with using GitLab in a development environment
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL Database Concepts
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services and configurations
- Ability to provide remote after-hours support in an on-call capacity
- Ability to exhibit a customer-centric perspective, aligned with leading commercial-level service desk support
- Top Secret clearance
- IAT-II Certification, including Security+

Salary: The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
