Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at Carter's. As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases, while maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
  • Product Knowledge: Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environment.
  • Point of Sale Transactions: Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions.
  • Store Maintenance: Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
  • Brand Awareness: Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
  • Loss Prevention: Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.

  • Communication Skills: Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Multi-Tasking: The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Working Conditions

The Sales Associate will be required to:

Lift 40 Pounds: Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.Stand or Walk: Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder.Availability: Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.About Carter's as an Employer
