Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at Worldwide Recruitment Services - EOC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of construction projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall management direction on one or more construction projects or on a specific portion of a very large project.
  • Evaluate the contractual scope of work and plan, organize, and staff key project positions.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts, and monitor/control project development through administrative direction of on-site project superintendents.
  • Manage all financial aspects of contracts, including costs, billings, and collections, to maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow.
  • Manage risks, investigate potentially serious situations, and implement corrective measures as required.
  • Actively pursue additional work through change orders and ensure project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and standards.
  • Attend job progress meetings as required and develop and maintain viable long-term relationships with customers, consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
  • 4-yr mechanical or electrical engineering or construction science degree (or commensurate levels of technical training and related experience).
  • Solid experience (3-5 years) and knowledge of construction design, finance, and management.
  • Proficient project management skills, including documentation, cost control, procurement, scheduling, change order pricing, negotiating, and thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc.
  • OSHA-30 certification (if not currently certified, must be obtained within six (6) months from date of hire).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, outstanding organizational skills, and excellent MS Office skills.
