Position Summary

As an Application Software Engineer at Triad Financial Services, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of tailored software solutions and product integrations. This position also involves providing tiered support for custom applications and delivering regular updates on project progress. You will be engaged in modifying software applications or architecture to address issues and plan for future enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and maintain effective working relationships with various departments and personnel to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and implement high-quality applications that meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams, including mentoring and conducting code reviews.
  • Evaluate application performance and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Adhere to development standards to facilitate the maintenance of software systems that support team collaboration.
  • Resolve support issues through troubleshooting and effective problem-solving.
  • Consult on the evaluation of software systems and assist in the implementation of new solutions.
  • Take ownership of and support deployed software systems.
  • Ensure adherence to technology standards and best practices in all projects and operational tasks.
  • Contribute to all stages of the software development life cycle.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions.
  • Align with the strategic direction of the department and propose improvements to enhance processes.
  • Maintain extensive technical expertise in Microsoft products and stay updated on industry trends.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of current technology solutions for internet, mobile devices, personal computers, and networks.
  • Proficient in HTML, client-side frameworks like AngularJS, and server-side programming languages such as C#.
  • Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server and MongoDB, with skills in data modeling, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
  • Extensive experience in building solutions using Azure services, including Azure App Services, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
  • Background in deploying web applications on both on-premises servers and Azure.
  • Able to design and implement system integrations using REST or SOAP technologies.
  • Experience in iterative development processes and DevSecOps environments.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and business acumen.
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, and communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and mentoring capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with software repository tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps Server, or Git.
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular or libraries like React.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing enterprise-wide software solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET technologies, including .NET Core, Web Forms, MVC, Web API, WPF, and Entity Framework.
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing SQL Server, including writing stored procedures and designing database schemas.
  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft operating systems.
  • Experience with HubSpot integration is highly preferred.
  • Integration experience with Encompass is also highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This role may require occasional physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs, and other movements.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily in an office setting with minimal exposure to external environmental factors.

Salary Range: $101,383.70 to $112,648.56
