Position Overview

RF-SMART, a division of ICS, is in search of a skilled JavaScript Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This role involves collaborating with an agile group to design, enhance, and sustain an application tailored for NetSuite, primarily utilizing JavaScript and SuiteScript.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate within an agile team to improve and maintain a NetSuite application developed in JavaScript and SuiteScript.
- Write server-side application logic in JavaScript as a SuiteScript developer.
- Convert business requirements into functional features within the application using JavaScript.
- Produce clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, ensuring reusability and extensibility.
- Engage in code reviews with the product team and other departments to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Work alongside the quality assurance team to validate modifications and assist in creating WebDriver test suites.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Over 6 years of professional experience in JavaScript, including frameworks.
- More than 6 years of experience in application development utilizing object-oriented programming principles.
- Proficient in Web API consumption and the design and implementation of Single Page Applications (SPAs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with effective communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Manufacturing and Distribution methodologies, NetSuite, SuiteScript, and Knockout is advantageous.
