Position Summary

As an Application Software Engineer at Triad Financial Services, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of bespoke software solutions and product integrations. This position also entails providing specialized tiered support for custom applications and assisting in delivering regular updates on project statuses. You will participate in the enhancement of software applications or architecture to address challenges and prepare for future scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with various departments and personnel to ensure coordinated efforts.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and implement robust and high-quality applications in a timely manner, adhering to specifications and supporting documentation.
  • Offer technical guidance to project teams, including mentoring and conducting code reviews.
  • Evaluate application performance and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Comply with development standards to facilitate the maintenance of software systems that support team collaboration.
  • Provide troubleshooting and resolution for support-related issues.
  • Consult on the assessment of software systems.
  • Oversee the implementation and deployment of new software systems.
  • Assume ownership and provide ongoing support for deployed software systems.
  • Ensure adherence to technology standards and best practices throughout projects and operational activities.
  • Contribute to all stages of the software development life cycle.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions.
  • Align with the strategic direction of the department and propose enhancements to improve processes.
  • Maintain extensive technical expertise in Microsoft products and industry trends.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of contemporary technology solutions for internet, mobile devices, personal computers, and networks.
  • Proficient in HTML, client-side frameworks such as AngularJS, and server-side programming languages like C#.
  • Advanced experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server and MongoDB, focusing on data modeling, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
  • Experience in building solutions within Azure, including Azure App Services, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Containers, Storage Accounts, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Familiarity with deploying web applications on both on-premises servers and Azure.
  • Ability to design and implement system integrations using technologies such as REST or SOAP.
  • Experience in iterative development processes and DevSecOps environments.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and business acumen.
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, and communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and mentoring capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with software repository tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps Server, or Git.
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular or libraries like React.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level software solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET technologies, including .NET Core, Web Forms, MVC, Web API, WPF, and Entity Framework.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, including writing stored procedures and designing database schemas.
  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft operating systems.
  • Preferred experience with integrating and working with HubSpot and Encompass.

Physical Requirements:

This role may occasionally require standing, walking, lifting or exerting forces up to 20 lbs., reaching, climbing, or balancing. Frequent activities include sitting, manual dexterity, repetitive motions, and effective communication.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based with minimal exposure to external environmental factors.
