Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer with a materials background to join our Operations team at LightForce Orthodontics.

You will be part of a growing team and find that your day-to-day tasks actively contribute to our company's success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead efforts to enhance existing processes, focusing on improving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Apply a deep understanding of material properties, behavior, and processing techniques to solve complex engineering challenges.
  3. Oversee and manage multiple projects from conception through execution.
  4. Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze process performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  5. Work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and materials.
  6. Ensure that all processes and materials comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering with a focus on materials science.
  • Proven experience in leading complex projects and process optimization in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ISO 13845, ISO 9001, and/or medical device regulation.
  • Experience in project management methodologies.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Experience with additive manufacturing.
