POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Cash Handling Specialist is tasked with executing cashier responsibilities, which encompass managing cash transactions, balancing the cash drawer, dispensing change, recording cash receipts, and producing financial reports. This role may also involve supporting general food service operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness in both service and dining environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure cash is verified and balanced at the start of each shift.
  • Manage the cash register, process payments, and provide receipts.
  • Maintain appropriate cash levels within the drawer.
  • Compile transaction reports and reconcile cash amounts.
  • Handle credit card transactions and manage returns.
  • Accurately scan and enter merchandise prices.
  • Complete transactions in a timely and precise manner.
  • Follow hygiene protocols and implement security measures.
  • Comply with safety guidelines and engage in training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a cashier role is essential.
