Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating MRI equipment to capture images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Preparing and positioning patients while accurately selecting technical parameters to produce high-quality images.
  • Conducting patient pre-screening, scheduling, and providing education regarding the imaging process.
  • Managing patient data and ensuring the proper transfer and development of images.
  • Adhering to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Submitting high-quality images and documentation to the PACS system.
  • Maintaining the functionality of imaging equipment and reporting any issues.
  • Keeping the imaging department organized and clean, including all related areas.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following:

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    • BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
    • One of the following credentials is required within 6 months of hire:
      • Cardiographic Tech credential from CCI.
      • Radiologic Technologist specializing in MRI from ARRT.
      • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography from ARRT.
      • Medical Sonographer credential from ARDMS.
  • Education:
    • High School diploma with 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable experience.
