Role Overview: We are in search of enthusiastic **Spice Merchants (Retail Sales Associates)** who possess a passion for food and cooking, and who can effectively communicate this enthusiasm to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail and demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service in a specialty food retail setting.
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout their shopping experience.
  • Establish rapport through engaging conversations and provide honest recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Process customer transactions using our POS and online pickup systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
  • Support the upkeep of the back stock area and assist in setting up product displays.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of retail experience or related background preferred.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a strong dedication to customer service.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with customers.
  • Professional demeanor with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 15 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • A genuine passion for food and flavors is essential.
