Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Good Samaritan Medical Center. As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the operating room to the recovery area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients after receiving anesthetic agents
  • Coordinate the care of the patient and serve as their advocate throughout the post-operative experience
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Certifications

Required:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support
  • ACLS
  • PALS (preferred, to be obtained within 1 year)
Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as a PACU Registered Nurse with ICU/ER experience
