We are seeking a highly skilled Air Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a key member of our Air Logistics team, you will be responsible for monitoring and updating shipment orders using our advanced IT enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities- Track and trace shipments through alarm management and checkpoint verification at key milestones.
- Communicate effectively with our vendors and service partners to ensure that the needs of our customers are being satisfied consistently.
- Work collaboratively with our Customer Relationship Managers, Customer Service, and Commercial Business Development team to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
- Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to management and update clients in conjunction with Customer Service.
- Ensure all time and temperature requirements are maintained during transit.
- Shared responsibility for the overview of the department mailbox to include the receipt of new bookings and internal inquiries.
- Must be able to view computer monitors both at close range and distance.
- Reporting to the Operational Shift supervisor.
- Schedule: 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day (2nd Shift 2pm-8pm).
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics.
- 6+ Air Logistics experience or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in customer service.
