Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our pharmacy, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and processing transactions. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment, ensuring that all necessary supplies are stocked and available.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filling prescriptions and verifying medication
  • Processing transactions and handling customer payments
  • Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Assisting pharmacists with patient consultations and medication counseling
  • Developing strong relationships with customers and patients

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Good math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
