Role Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Physician Leader to join our team at Stanford University.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, teaching, and research in the field of Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time position that includes:

  • Patient care in the emergency department at Stanford Hospital
  • Teaching and mentoring of residents, medical students, and junior faculty
  • Creating new knowledge through research and securing funding
  • Engaging in educational activities related to research
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • An MD/DO with research training or extensive experience in research
  • A track record or potential to obtain a track record of independently funded investigator-initiated research
  • Excellent clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity skills
  • Familiarity with Precision Emergency Medicine concepts
