Crisis Center Clinician - Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Center Clinician - Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Compass Health Network. As a key member of our crisis response team, you will provide compassionate and expert care to individuals in crisis, working to de-escalate situations and connect them with the resources they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage individuals presenting at our Crisis Access Point, using your expertise to assess their needs and develop a plan for support
  • Provide direct and indirect services to individuals in crisis, including assessments, referrals, and follow-up support
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to agency and state regulations
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments, applying your knowledge to improve our services and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology (or related field) preferred
  • Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Strong assessment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
