Job Title

Scenic Fabrication Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scenic Fabrication Project Coordinator to join our team at The Scenic Route. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process of scenic elements for live events, touring productions, and exhibitions.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or a related field, with a strong background in fabrication and construction. You will be responsible for maintaining schedules, collaborating with clients and designers, interpreting CAD designs, submitting work orders, and overseeing quality control throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and staying on schedules
  • Collaborating with the client management team and assisting with technical design process
  • Interpreting existing and creating new CAD drafted elements and construction details
  • Submitting work orders and assisting with material procurement
  • Oversight of details and quality control through the construction process
  • Client coordination and communication throughout the production process
  • Managing trucking logistics
  • Onsite supervision of load-in and strike

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or college equivalent
  • Experience in entertainment production
  • Highly computer literate
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Fabrication experience with wood and metal and familiarity with a variety of construction materials
  • Ability to work long hours when needed
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
