About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Human Resources Service Center team. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of the HRSC department, which is the central organizational hub supporting employee services at MITRE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a high-performing HRSC team, working closely with group leaders to handle escalated HR issues and provide subject matter expertise on HR operations.
  • Drive ongoing improvements through process standardization and consolidation, identifying problem areas and recommending solutions to enhance HR strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with HRIT, Centers of Excellence, and HR Business Partners to provide optimized and consistent HR experiences, processes, and outcomes for MITRE employees.
  • Ensure the implementation of suitable human resources governance practices, including legal and regulatory compliance, through the HR Operational team.
  • Accountable for human resources data privacy and security, rapid response to privacy issues, and handling of sensitive cases for MITRE stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years of management experience in the human resources field, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience operating shared services in Workday and in a government contracting, professional services, or high-tech organization.
  • End-to-end process understanding, ability to develop and maintain processes, and HR service center procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex shared service issues.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and sound influential skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage several objectives simultaneously while prioritizing and driving strategic plans.
