Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Compliance Specialist to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring our adherence to legal standards and in-house policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective legal compliance programs to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Draft and revise company policies to ensure alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough audits of processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Set plans to manage crises or compliance violations, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect our operations and policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with climate compliance, legal, and compliance auditing.
  • Strong business acumen and a dedication to legality.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with computer software and databases.
  • Professional Certification in Compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is an added advantage.
