Job Summary

As a Joint Data Link Network Administrator at JT4 LLC, you will be responsible for performing a variety of fundamental field engineering tasks under general supervision of a senior level engineer. This includes the installation, operations, testing, and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs Operations and Maintenance on assigned Joint Data Network (JDNA)/Link 16 equipment
  • Coordinates with the appropriate computer activities and units to resolve all computer support issues for the JICC computers
  • Assists the JDNO and JICO with the operation and maintenance of the JDN
  • Configures and operates Link-16 host and auxiliary equipment
  • Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment
  • Diagnoses malfunctions in new and existing systems
  • Performs system administration duties, including networking on Unix/Linux equipment
  • Performs upgrades and installations to Windows 7/10 equipment
  • Works closely with project management, other engineering disciplines, configuration management, quality assurance, and operations support in the design and deployment of systems or enhancements
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years with Tactical Data Link/BC3 experience
  • Knowledge of Link 16 operations at a minimum of JTDS 101
  • At least four years of applicable Data Link experience
  • AJOC (JT-310) course completion highly recommended/desired
  • Associates Degree in Engineering/Computer Sciences or other technical discipline
  • Minimum of 7 or more years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field
