Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Coordinator to join our team at Addison Group. As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of production on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time updates from the shop floor to internal teams via collaborative tools.
  • Support the shop floor by ensuring material and supplies are readily available at machines.
  • Facilitate changes and updates to the schedule on the floor to ensure the latest information is available.
  • Provide support to operators and supervisors with MP inquiries and other production-related matters.
  • Ensure accuracy of MP's prior to submitting them to the shop floor.
  • Support communication between the shop floor, supervisors, production scheduling team, management, and supply team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Keep the DPL updated with the latest completions and information.
  • Verify MP's for accuracy prior to submitting them to the floor.
  • Provide machines with the latest schedule, schedule changes, and MP's.
  • Review MP's upon completion for notes on quality and shortage.
  • Provide updates to corresponding sales personnel on order shortage.
  • Work with sales on inquiries related to MP's and orders.
  • Support logistics by keeping them updated on changes or issues that may hinder their scheduled trucks.
  • Update logistic trucking confirmation on to DPL.
  • Update DSL as needed.
  • Update DPL based on DSL updates, support supply team.
  • Verify that skids are at machines and collaborate with supply team when missing.
  • Provide the office scheduling team with information that can hinder completion.
  • Update DPL on machine downtime and follow up with maintenance and supervisors on updates.
  • Work closely with operators on MP's, priority expectations, and changes.
  • Provide support to the management team, supply scheduling, and production scheduling.
  • Ensure DPL and shop floor are a mirror image of each other.

Requirements:

  • 6 months - 4 years of customer service, logistics, or operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with MS Excel.
  • Comfortable with numbers.
