Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections on heavy machinery.
  • Develop and communicate lift plans before executing operations.
  • Assess load capacity in accordance with equipment specifications and perform lifts safely.
  • Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on equipment.
  • Transport machinery to various job locations.
  • Operate heavy equipment with efficiency and safety in mind.
  • Interpret operational instructions for accurate lifting.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in crane signaling.
  • Ability to read and comprehend load charts.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • NCCCO certification is mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of experience in crane operation within a construction environment.
  • Capability to obtain necessary certifications and clearances.
  • CDL License is preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to navigate through construction and marine settings.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery and vehicles.
  • Quick reflexes in response to hazardous situations.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
