Job Summary

At Youth Advocate Programs, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing individualized mental health interventions and support services to children and adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families in community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement sound clinical interventions and supportive services to enable children and adolescents to maintain and function to the best of their ability in the least restrictive setting.
  • Participate as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and work under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
  • Provide mental health support and interventions in various community-based settings, including home, school, and community settings.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.
  • Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization.
  • Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).

  • Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking.
