Assistant Coach for Women's Softball

Cairn University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Assistant Coach for Women's Softball. The successful applicant will assist the head coach with practice and game planning execution, attending practices, meetings, games, and team events.

The Assistant Coach will be responsible for assisting the head coach in leading drills and training sessions, as well as participating in the recruiting process through email communication and attending tournaments of high school prospective student athletes.

Additionally, the Assistant Coach will assist the head coach in organizing and implementing fundraising events. Compensation may be in the form of a salary or a graduate scholarship to pursue a master's degree at Cairn University.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Prior playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred; successful high school or club coaching experience considered.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.


Cairn University is a conservative evangelical institution within the Protestant tradition that employs faculty and staff who profess Jesus Christ as personal Savior.
