Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive energy production and consumption studies, focusing on electrification and sustainability initiatives.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions for various projects, utilizing advanced analytical tools and Excel-based models.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize energy systems and ensure adherence to energy efficiency standards.
  • Perform technical distance studies for utilities and electrification studies to assess and optimize energy usage.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on energy study findings and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in energy engineering, with a focus on energy production, electrification studies, and energy efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with internally developed spreadsheets for energy modeling.
  • Knowledge of eQUEST, Trace, or similar energy modeling software is a significant plus.
  • Experience with LEED and other green building standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct comprehensive energy studies.
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
