Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately document files in a professional and concise manner to meet NYS and Federal licensing requirements.
  • Manage Electronic Medical Records with precision and confidentiality.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all case records and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Encourage resident involvement in program planning and progress assessments.
  • Teach Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills to residents.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and senior specialists to complete service plans for residents.
  • Supervise the self-administration of medication daily to ensure all medications have been ingested as prescribed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the program site and property.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Human Services preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a mental health setting and/or experience working with individuals abusing and/or addicted to alcohol and/or drugs preferred.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License required.
