Job Summary:

USA Health is seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at the Children's and Women's Hospital. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by preparing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Utilize approved PPE to disinfect and decontaminate surgical/clinic items and instrumentation
Retrieve soiled supplies/equipment from soiled holding areas and sort, disassemble, and decontaminate items
Clean and maintain decontamination equipment and follow established procedures for high-level disinfection
Document receipt and work performed using tracking software
Inspect and assemble equipment, instruments, and scopes, verifying functionality and cleanliness
Identify and address any issues with instrument sets or sterilization processes

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
