American Residential Services, a leading provider of residential plumbing services, is seeking an experienced Senior Plumber Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide exceptional plumbing services to our customers, including drain cleaning, repair, and maintenance. Responsibilities include:



  • Diagnosing problems and providing solutions to customers
  • Cleaning drains in homes using cable machines and secondary lines
  • Unclogging sewers, kitchen and bathroom sinks, tubs, toilets, etc. using snakes and other equipment
  • Repairing and replacing drain lines, faucets, shower valves, ball valves, emergency shut-off valves, etc.
  • Maintaining and fueling company vehicles, as well as maintaining equipment in good working order
  • Transporting materials and tools to job sites and providing proper accounting of tools
  • Completing required documentation on services and collecting payment at time of service


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Two or more years of related service plumbing experience, in addition to training
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to regularly move, lift, and carry objects weighing 60-100 pounds or more, including water heaters, tubs, and materials
  • The ability to climb ladders, work overhead, manipulate, and maneuver tools
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and pulling required
  • A willingness and ability to work evening and alternating weekend shifts, with a 5-day workweek
  • Residential plumbing and drain cleaning experience is a must
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • A good driving record
