Job Title: Teacher-Math Interventionist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Teacher-Math Interventionist to join our team at Durham Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing math intervention support to middle school students, helping them to build a strong foundation in mathematics and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement math intervention programs for middle school students
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional math instruction
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate math intervention into the regular curriculum
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification
  • Experience working with middle school students
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics and instructional strategies
