Job Overview

McIntire Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Space Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and executing modeling and simulation systems development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply knowledge of simulation methods and tools for analysis of complex systems
  • Design and develop simulation systems and modeling of simulation objects leveraging industry standard tools and/or programming languages
  • Perform analysis applying appropriate scientific and engineering processes and modeling techniques to the life-cycle development of systems
  • Review plans for system integration, operation, and maintenance and assist in the development of training for operational personnel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 9+ years work experience strongly desired
  • Strong background and experience with Digital engineering, developing architectures using digital modeling and simulations of space and ground architectures
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience modeling and simulating complex systems
  • Experience using modeling languages and tools such as C, Python, R, SQL, postgreSQL, linux, TCL/Tk, MATLAB, VB, and/or STK
