At Touro Property Management LLC, we are dedicated to fostering a supportive work environment where every employee is valued. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to assist in the maintenance operations of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Lead Maintenance Technician, the Maintenance Support Specialist will:
- Address service requests and prepare units for new residents during regular business hours.
- Be available for after-hours emergency situations.
- Monitor the physical condition of the property and support maintenance staff with daily tasks.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of work orders and unit preparations.
- Maintain detailed records of preventative maintenance schedules, service requests, and ongoing work.
- Order necessary parts and manage inventory effectively.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Community Manager or Maintenance Directors.
Daily inspections of the property will be conducted to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed promptly. Any safety or liability concerns must be addressed immediately, with all incidents reported to the corporate office without delay.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in property maintenance is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and on-call duties.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Organizational skills are important.
- HVAC Certification is required.
- A valid driver's license or reliable transportation is necessary.
- Bilingual candidates (English - Spanish) are preferred.
Physical Demands:
- 60% of the time spent on your feet, 40% at a desk.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and squat.
- Capable of picking up litter and climbing stairs for inspections.
- Must be able to open and close doors and cabinets.
- Proficient in writing and typing.
- Experience operating maintenance equipment, including hand tools and ladders, as well as lifting supplies and parts.
