Endoscopy Nurse Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Endoscopy Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Good Samaritan Medical Center. As a key member of our Endoscopy Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our endoscopy procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and patients during endoscopy procedures, demonstrating expertise and knowledge in endoscopy.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of the physician and patient for each procedure.
  • Stay current with new techniques and mentor staff members.
  • Assist with staff education and training.
  • Manage equipment and inventory, ensuring all necessary supplies are available and in working order.
  • Coordinate cases and staff with management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications:
    • Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida.
    • BSN preferred.
    • BLS/CPR certification (American Heart or equivalent).
    • ACLS.
  • Minimum Experience:
    • 3-5 years GI/Endoscopy experience or equivalent.
    • Supervisory experience preferred.
