Key Responsibilities

* Proactively manage project-related issues on assignment and provide superior customer service
* Team-oriented individual who will work in tandem with Project Manager to ensure timeliness of submittals and procurement of materials for the project in accordance with the schedule
* Manage QA/QC process in field and maintain OSHA and DOB safety compliance
* Meet annual goals and objectives set by management team and contribute to the growth of the company
* Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all technology as required for assigned projects

Essential Functions

* Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment
* Demonstrating a proactive focus on meeting customer and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner
* Team-oriented
* Provide day-to-day on-site supervision of all trades
* Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and produce/distribute minutes
* Complete Daily Logs in Procore, including before & after photos and manpower breakdown
* Manage QA/QC process in field
* Provide progress reports for schedule updates, including 2-3 week look-ahead schedules on a weekly basis
* Manage subcontractor coordination of scopes to ensure that all subcontractors are providing the scopes of work that they owe, with no gaps or \"doubling up\" which could result in unnecessary change orders
* Maintain OSHA and DOB safety compliance
* Work in tandem with Project Manager to ensure timeliness of submittals and procurement of materials for the project in accordance with the project schedule
* Review RFI's in tandem with PM
* Review submittals in tandem with PM and APM prior to issuance to design team.
* Track potential change orders and collaborate with PM in maintaining accurate PCO log.
* Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all technology as required for assigned projects.
* Comply with all OC Construction Management policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.

Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities

* NYC DOB Superintendent License
* 5+ years of practical experience in a project superintendent role.
* Experience in construction management or real estate preferred
* Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level management and customers
* Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Detail-oriented
* Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Procore preferred
