Job Summary:

The Division Finance Manager provides financial expertise, management, and oversight on all financial matters for their assigned Division at the Department of Health Services (DHS). This position is responsible for administering complex budgets from multiple sources and directing all financial activity for the Division through subordinate staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage Division budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Monitor financial activities, including revenues, expenditures, appropriations, and contractual activities
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and policies
  • Provide financial guidance and training to subordinate staff
  • Develop and implement financial plans and recommendations for the Division
  • Coordinate the development and submission of the Agency's proposed annual budget
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in budgeting, governmental accounting, and financial analysis
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
