Job Summary:

SecureSky is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Analyst to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing exposure and threat analysis to clients to prevent and mitigate cyber attacks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to security alerts and conducting threat and exposure hunting.
  • Determining risk based on the threat landscape, user actions, and other XDR-based indicators, threat intelligence signals, and knowledge of client environments.
  • Developing SIEM and CTEM content and processes to apply across SecureSky clients.
  • Advancing one or more SecureSky consulting practice areas, such as XDR, security automation, or vulnerability management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Understanding of common cybersecurity attack vectors, threat intelligence parameters, and security technologies.
  • One to three years of practical experience in threat investigations, incident response, and/or deployment of XDR tools.
  • Strong verbal and written skills for effective client communications and internal documentation.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
