Job Summary

The Assistant Manager is a key leadership role responsible for providing guidance and motivation to site personnel, ensuring exceptional customer service during assigned shifts. This position models and delivers quality customer service, adheres to policies and procedures, schedules, analyzes profitability, and manages vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor financials, sales volume, P&L, controllable expenses, cash controls, and inventory.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by greeting and assisting customers, responding to customer needs, questions, and complaints.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to determine the necessity of repairs or maintenance.
  • Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, and modeling.
  • Supervise store staff to maintain labor model standards.
  • Direct, model, and supervise employees engaged in sales, reconciling cash reports, and customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • One year's management experience in a fast-paced retail environment delivering exceptional customer service, preferred.
  • ServeSafe certified.
  • Experience in cash management, POS, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
Work Environment

This role is based in a retail environment with a focus on customer service and sales. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
