About the Role:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from children to adults, and provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across various age groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and assessments.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings and client-specific goals, ensuring effective communication and swallowing interventions.
  • Provide Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver individual or group therapy sessions to address communication and swallowing challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices and strategies.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatment Plans: Regularly assess client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, educators, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients, promoting a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Educate Clients and Families: Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on strategies and exercises to support communication and swallowing goals, empowering them to take an active role in their care.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure and Certification: Possess current licensure (SLP) in Michigan and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous Clinical Experience: Preferably, have previous clinical experience; new graduates with relevant clinical practicum experience will be considered.
  • Strong Clinical Skills: Demonstrate strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and documentation.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively: Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
