Role Overview: The Parts Wholesale Associate plays a crucial role in engaging with external automotive service providers to promote and sell wholesale manufacturer parts. The primary objective is to deliver an outstanding experience that fosters customer loyalty towards AutoNation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to expand the parts wholesale sector through proactive prospecting and sourcing of new clients.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with wholesale customers to fulfill their needs and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Respond to incoming calls promptly and courteously, striving to resolve inquiries effectively.
  • Provide customers with essential information while identifying additional sales opportunities.
  • Accurately price parts and accessories to ensure competitive offerings.
  • Organize and stock incoming inventory in designated locations.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly parts department to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Create and manage merchandising displays to promote product sales effectively.
Success Metrics:
  • Performance is evaluated based on achieving:

  • Targeted unit sales and profit margins
  • Targeted customer satisfaction levels
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Proven capability to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Prior experience in parts sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
  • Familiarity with technology and a desire to work with it.
  • Valid in-state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
