Tetra Tech Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Manager to support our Department of Defense Strategic Growth initiatives in Southern California and the Pacific Region. This part-time position will focus on strategy, business development, capture, and execution of engineering, asset management, and planning projects/proposals for DoD clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new client accounts and collaborate with existing Tetra Tech account managers and market sector leaders to expand existing client accounts.
- Prepare proposals, support projects, and perform technical work as necessary, balancing sales and utilization.
- Develop and implement growth strategies to increase the client base for a broad range of integrated services, including planning, engineering, investigation, assessment, geospatial, and construction management services.
- Meet with key clients and potential clients to share Tetra Tech's capabilities and foster stronger client relationships.
- Work collaboratively with other experts in numerous locations across Tetra Tech's broad US geography.
- Identify, develop, and nurture strategic partnerships with other businesses for major government programs.
- Professional registration (PE, PG, PMP, RA, etc.) is preferred.
- Knowledge of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, or other DoD/Federal organizations is required.
- This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.
- This position requires the successful candidate to pass a background check to obtain access to DoD installations and interact with controlled unclassified information (CUI).
- Bachelor of Science in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field is required.
- Ten (10) years of experience in program/project management with DoD is required.
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience supporting or leading capture planning, and task order or contract proposals is required.
