Responsibilities
  • Deliver dialysis care to patients in a hospital setting, working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between care settings.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in dialysis care.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Experience in intensive care, critical care, emergency room, or medical surgical settings is preferred.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
