Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to support our top-producing team in mortgage loan origination. This role requires a unique blend of sales and customer service skills, as well as the ability to manage loan files from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including making and screening calls, booking appointments, and managing loan files.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Assemble loan documentation, including loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork.
  • Review loan package documentation for discrepancies and report any issues to the loan originator.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, branch manager, and assigned loan originator, coordinating follow-up items as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software.
  • College degree in finance or banking preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients.
  • 2-3 years of professional office experience and administration or mortgage experience preferred.
  • Comprehension of basic loan financing options, including conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, commercial loans, etc.
  • NMLS license or training preferred, but not required.
