Job Title: MQ Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled MQ Administrator to join our team in Ashburn, VA. As a MQ Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of IBM MQ queue managers on distributed platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • IBM MQ queue manager administration, trouble shooting, configuration, and on-call support as needed.
  • Installation, configuration, and administration of IBM MQ queue managers on distributed platforms.
  • Provide on-call support as needed to diagnose and rectify issues related to queue managers.
  • Clearly document requirements, design, and operation procedures for queue managers.
Requirements:
  • 5-9 years of relevant experience.
  • Expert knowledge of IBM MQ on distributed platforms.
  • Skills in diagnosing issues related to IBM MQ queue managers.
  • Good knowledge of UNIX operating system and scripting languages (bash/korn shell, expect).
  • Knowledge of Java and JMS and REST interface is preferred.
Clearance and Citizenship:
  • Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
Location:

Telework with on-site (Ashburn, VA) visits if a mission need. On-call rotation which includes carrying the duty phone. All candidates must be local to the Northern Virginia area.
