Job Title: DC Maintenance Mechanic Weekend Nights

Ulta Beauty is seeking a skilled DC Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on a weekend shift. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center's material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and electronics
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods/materials
  • Design and build specifications for new electrical circuits
  • Maintain Material Handling Systems, including conveyors, case erectors, and sortation equipment
  • Troubleshoot PLC ladder logic, components, and communications protocols
  • Modify programming codes to change operation of conveyors and interpret multiple programming code languages
  • Maintain battery-powered equipment, including performing basic maintenance of powered equipment manufacturers
  • Maintain building and grounds, including performing carpentry work as necessary and basic troubleshooting of HVAC equipment
  • Perform other general warehouse tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • Certified with HVAC repair, a licensed Electrician or Plumber, with 2-10+ years' experience performing preventative maintenance
  • Advanced knowledge of Ulta Beauty-specific machinery
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Repair certification for powered equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of communication protocols, such as profibus, modbus, devicenet, controlnet, etc.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot all MHE peripherals
  • Ability to communicate on all levels and work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated experience with safety procedures on equipment
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Basic ability to understand written/oral instructions in English
  • Ability to follow instructions quickly and accurately and work overtime, as needed
  • Flexibility with daily task assignments
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds consistently, lift, bend, stand, and walk 8 hours a day, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Working Conditions:
  • Constant exposure to loud noises
  • Occasional work in high places
  • Exposure to variable temperatures
  • Exposure to dusty environment
  • May be exposed to strong scents related to cosmetic or fragrance
  • May be required to work in narrow aisles or trailers

The pay range for this position is $28.00/hour. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
