Job Summary

This role defines, plans, and delivers complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and management of inter-dependencies between a group of projects and/or related activities within the constraint of scope, quality, time, and budget.

The successful candidate will work with business and technical organizations to drive out program strategy and approach, organize, plan, and maintain program roadmaps consisting of cross-functional activities/projects.

Key responsibilities include working with business and technical organizations to assemble project teams, leading project managers and/or program teams in the development and maintenance of comprehensive plans for a defined program, and working with executive sponsors and business owners to achieve program objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business objectives, be able to monitor, evaluate, and report on program status, and direct corrective action as needed to maintain program viability.

Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining positive customer relationships, delivering presentations of project status, and adhering to the organization's project management methods, project life-cycle methodologies, and audit requirements.

Requirements

Required:

4 years of experience in a project manager role

Preferred:

PMP certification or equivalent training

Healthcare insurance industry business and operational knowledge

Experience managing large, complex projects

Very good leadership skills

Very good organizational and planning skills

Experience with an industry-standard software development life-cycle

Skills

Experience with customer relationship management

Presentation skills

Negotiation skills

Experience with conflict resolution

Experience with risk mitigation planning

Pay Range Minimum:
$67,500.00

Pay Range Maximum:
$124,800.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.

The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
