About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at Good Samaritan Society's Ellsworth Village in Ellsworth, KS. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
  • Assist with basic health care needs, including vital sign monitoring, and provide psychosocial support.
  • Participate in wellness and recreational programs, encouraging residents to engage in activities.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, behavior, activity, and dietary needs.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Satisfactorily complete yearly department-specific competency testing and maintain continuing education credits.
