About this role

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team as an Advanced Materials Engineering intern. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in materials engineering and contribute to Carrier's business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed testing, record results, and provide summarized reports to engineers or internal customers.
  • Organize test documents, prepare samples, and conduct metallography and microscopy as needed.
  • Coordinate documentation, return to customer, and/or storage of tested samples.
  • Assist in continuous improvement efforts to increase test reliability and acceleration.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, following all procedures and PPE requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven and proactive.
  • Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects.

Pay Range: $41,000 - $96,450 Annually
