This is an opportunity to shape the future of dairy production and be part of a company committed to excellence and growth./em/ppemLocation: Hybrid role near Syracuse, NY/em/ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliExecute projects focused on efficiency, sustainability, profit, and continuous improvement./liliCollaborate with manufacturing to support consistent delivery, enhanced efficiency, reduced cost, improved sustainability, and maximized profitability./liliEvaluate material handling, batching, and process, while maintaining proper documentation./liliAssist with writing project proposals and generating reports./liliHelp with presenting design and research to internal customers./liliTechnical resource for the manufacturing and support functions./liliCollaborate with product development on feasibility and trialing of new ingredients and products./liliDevelop processes to meet production, measure process capabilities with the plant./liliMaintain material handling, batching, process, new technology, and equipment to improve the process/efficiency of the business./liliDocument batch, process, and equipment changes in product life cycle management./liliUnderstand process change through process capability measurement./liliContribute to Management of Change representing process change./liliSupport process on large capital projects./liliAddress chronic issues associated with product and process, i.e. Triage./li/ulpbrRequired Skills/Qualifications:/pulliEntry-level PhD/Masters/Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree or relevant scientific field of study./lili2+ years of food industry experience (dairy preferred)./liliCertifications such as Six Sigma are highly beneficial./liliHelpful if experienced in project management; leading teams/project teams./liliTechnical knowledge of engineering, data analysis, and food science./liliFundamental knowledge of consumer-packaged product processes and line equipment./liliUse and present knowledge associated with the design of experiments, statistical analysis, and statistical process control./liliStrong self-accountability to meet deadlines and drive results; is accountable for own work; meets timelines and expectations; works independently and is accountable to deadlines while flexible to changing business needs./liliDemonstrates problem-solving skills while looking for alternate solutions./liliTravel required as needed for business./li/ul
