Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Cost Accountant to join our client's finance team in the Midwest. As a key member of the cost accounting team, you will provide detailed cost information, facilitate informed decision-making, and contribute to strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  1. Analyze and interpret complex cost data to inform business decisions.
  2. Develop and implement cost standards for materials and labor.
  3. Prepare and analyze gross margin analysis by product, by customer type.
  4. Assist in month-end closing and prepare journal entries as necessary.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a cost accounting role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent technical skills regarding cost accounting and understanding of manufacturing operations and financial processes.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory standards is highly desirable.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
