Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Bartender to join our team at Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a safe and responsible environment for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and serve beverages to specification, using approved measuring tools and techniques.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and promptly, presenting receipts for credit card transactions or as requested by guests.
  • Monitor the bar area to ensure all guests are receiving beverage service in a timely manner.
  • Abide by laws, policies, and procedures related to the service and sale of alcoholic beverages, requiring evidence of age for guests under 30 and ensuring responsible service.
  • Observe guest behavior and cues to prevent intoxication and disorderly conduct.
  • Promptly and professionally handle guest issues and communicate problems and concerns to management.
  • Maintain knowledge of and provide guests with information about menus, promotions, programs, and gaming options.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and orderly work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Use personal protective equipment as required and operate and maintain all equipment and utensils according to established guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Stock service wells, set up and break down service wells, and receive all product and stock according to specifications.
  • Maintain a professional and neat appearance at all times and display a courteous and friendly attitude to all team members and guests.
  • Fulfill bar back job responsibilities in the absence of a bar-back and accurately record all sales in the POS system and collect funds for all products sold.
  • Submit all financial receipts for end-of-shift reports and demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
  • Manage and maintain the security of confidential information entrusted to the position and attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
  • Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements, and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money Laundering policies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain current TABC certification.
  • Bartender Certification or a minimum of one year of bartender experience preferred.
  • Must be able to understand and accept the risks involved with this position.
  • In-depth wine and alcohol beverage preparation knowledge preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral, with Spanish or other language skills a plus.
