Clinical Nurse II

As a Clinical Nurse II at UNC Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. With a focus on providing competent clinical nursing care, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver patient care that meets the unique needs of our patients.
Responsibilities- Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others
- Assess and prioritize patient care needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote patient-centered care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying and reporting concerns and opportunities for improvement
- Participate in performance improvement activities and quality initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- One year of nursing experience
